This month we also commemorate Anzac Day on the 25 April which marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand soldiers in World War 1. Dawn services and commemoration services take place all over the country with many people laying wreaths as a sign of respect for the soldiers who fought for our nation many years ago.
